The SIA has a decentralised structure, comprising 18 regional sections and an international section. These sections and their members take care of contact and engage in dialogue with the local authorities, politicians and educational institutions. In this way and through a large number of specialist and cultural events, the sections deal with specific local issues and can ensure that the general matters of interest to the SIA are addressed at regional level.
