The SIA General Secretariat in Zurich takes care of the Society‘s current transactions and duties, based on the guidelines and instructions issued by the Management Board. It has around 40 employees spread across the Society, Standards and Regulations, Services and Further Training, Legal, Communications, Finance, Human Resources, and IT and Infrastructure divisions.

ingenious switzerland, the export platform for the Architecture, Engineering and Design divisions, is also part of the General Secretariat.
