SIA – A conviction for quality and professionalism
In the public eye, the SIA stands for quality and professionalism - values which the Society has always maintained and imparted throughout its 175 year history. Im Zentrum der Vereinstätigkeit stehen die Fachleute des SIA.

The SIA requires its members to gear their professional activities toward sustainability, to take an exemplary ethical approach to the practice of their profession and to conform to the rules of fair competition.

Wide range of services
SIA members have a wide range of services available to them: discounts on SIA publications such as standards and regulations, a complimentary copy of one of the SIA journals, various training courses, consultations on legislation and standards, insurance solutions tailored to their needs, a newsletter and a website that provide regular and extensive information on planning-related issues, and much more.
